I’m Raven, the heart and soul behind Raven Skye Candle Co., and I’m absolutely thrilled to welcome you to our very first blog post! This is a special moment for me, and I can’t wait to share a bit about myself, the story behind our candles, and what you can expect from our cozy corner of the internet. How It All Began
In 2023, I found myself needing a little more comfort and calm in my life, mainly because of the covid-19 pandemic that affected others a lot like me. Because of this, I turned to the soothing glow of candles. There’s just something comforting about the way a candle’s flickering light can transform a space, filling it with warmth and tranquility. This simple but profound experience sparked an idea in me. What if I could create candles that did more than just light up a room? What if they could light up others too?
At the time I’m writing this, I’m 16 years old. Although I’m only 16, I've always believed that age is just a number when it comes to following your passion. Starting this journey has been both exciting and challenging, but every step has been worth it. From experimenting with different scents to perfecting the blend of natural ingredients, I’ve poured my heart and soul into crafting each candle. My goal? To create pieces that not only smell amazing but also add a touch of serenity and elegance to your home.
