Hi everyone!
I’m Raven, the heart and soul behind Raven Skye Candle Co., and I’m absolutely thrilled to welcome you to our very first blog post! This is a special moment for me, and I can’t wait to share a bit about myself, the story behind our candles, and what you can expect from our cozy corner of the internet. So, grab a cup of tea, light your favorite candle, and let’s dive in!
How It All Began
In 2023, I found myself needing a little more comfort and calm in my life, mainly because of the covid-19 pandemic that affected others a lot like me. Because of this, I turned to the soothing glow of candles. There’s just something comforting about the way a candle’s flickering light can transform a space, filling it with warmth and tranquility. This simple but profound experience sparked an idea in me. What if I could create candles that did more than just light up a room? What if they could light up others too?
At the time I’m writing this, I’m 16 years old. Although I’m only 16, I've always believed that age is just a number when it comes to following your passion. Starting this journey has been both exciting and challenging, but every step has been worth it. From experimenting with different scents to perfecting the blend of natural ingredients, I’ve poured my heart and soul into crafting each candle. My goal? To create pieces that not only smell amazing but also add a touch of serenity and elegance to your home.
Crafting with Care
At Raven Skye Candle Co., we take pride in our commitment to quality and sustainability. Each candle is made with natural ingredients, carefully selected to ensure a clean burn and long-lasting fragrance. I believed in using sustainable practices since day one, so you can feel good about the choices you make for your home and the planet. Whether it’s our eco-friendly coconut wax or our hand-picked fragrance oils, every detail is designed to bring you the best experience possible.
A candle for every moment
I believe that the right scent can elevate any moment, turning the ordinary into the extraordinary. Whether you’re unwinding after a long day, setting the mood for a special dinner, or simply wanting to add a touch of elegance to your home, there’s a candle here for you. My goal is for these candles to become a cherished part of your life, creating moments of peace, joy, and connection, like they do for me!
